Long Weekend Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Long Weekend

Long weekend

It is a long weekend;
-Monday is holiday
-for them to celebrate.

I do not attend it!
Will never; shall never!

I speak against it;
-she, to me, is one bitch
-like many kings, queens!

Though many are named as Maria
-many of the queens
-British, Spanish, of Russia
-are also Catherin, Isabella, Victoria.

All of them have caused pain
-have ordered their soldiers
-to march in New-Lands and murder;
-massacred innocent residents.

They draw the borders
-and abused dissidents.

They rewrote history
-full of lies, stories
-and themselves
-partied in the backyards
-drank tea, India's
-in the cups of China.

All of them claimed that
-represent "God! " or "Lord".

I cannot celebrate
-the birth of such bastards
-with any excuse
-to show them my respect!

Will never; shall never!
Will never; shall never!
