Long Trip Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Long Trip

Rating: 5.0

My roaming incurred many charges,
Though that one charge didn't matter,
For the adventure was steeped in drama
And nature wild.

The roaming incurred no price,
For it brought other adventures with it.
My travels to exotic lands,
Were the prize and the glory of travelling.

My country, you brought me into your bossom,
Then released me in time,
To go back home
To recall all the very best.
