Long Live The Best, The Most Generous Poem by Sandra Feldman

Long Live The Best, The Most Generous

Rating: 1.0

Those who want to destroy us,
Because we are still free,
Those who are treacherously against us,
In our Country and those you cannot see,
Now, Hear me!
This is the United States of America,
The land of builders, of creativity,
The land of the fighting free,
Where one can still,
Breath freedom, humanly,
Like no other you have flowered,
Like no other you let Be,
The dreams, sweat and tears,
Of great opportunity,
We have an obligation,
Freedom is not free,
To protect with admiration,
Your Temple of Liberty!

Good to see another poem from you Sandra, I was getting worried for a while. I hope you are well. God Bless.

A befitting tribute to homeland, Sandra. I wish Americans should think and see other nations free as well. I mean no derogation by them but surely for a poet and fellow human, these sentiments may mean a lot.
