Long Live Cosmos Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Long Live Cosmos

Long live cosmos
- - - - - - - - - - - -
Indeed this cosmos is a wonder
Brighter than my dreams
Sweeter than my words
Prettier than my looks
And the Sun shines so bright
The Moon so cool
The Stars so still
All live so happily here
I wonder if it is wise
Of science to interfere
Thinking man oft raises his head
Gazes at the star-filled sky overhead
Upon the canopy mysterious
Under which he lives and moves
Asks ‘what is the meaning of it all'?
And bows his head in humble ignorance
Better be not the wise owl
Than play the satirical role
Let this cosmos face no impending threat
And last till the day infinite
Let countless dawns dawn
Let countless sunsets set
Let countless lives come and proliferate
A wish
Let our beloved God not forget………..

Yes very true, without the existence of this universe or cosmos this life will be totally trash. Just think about the sky having no sun, no moon and no stars..... only the endless darkness. That is next to death. So long live.
