' ' ' ' ' ' Long For You To Turn(Tankas)

Rating: 2.8

Long for you to turn
& then...smile at me again.
But – the photo won’t
listen to me...'Listen to me! '
Deaf to everything but – Death.

********

Your grave buried now
beneath such snow & prayers.
Both angel & I
gazing at nothing...sky...
you so alive...in my head.

*******

So cold...my shadow
frozen to the ground...fract...ures
as I move away
I leave it behind and grow
another to take with me.

*******

Falling now over
& over the rain has grown
older it would seem
I pass through time leaving all
sadness behind. I love you.

Donall - -this has to be the most inspired of love poems and also the saddest - - I am overwhelmed with your clarity of presentation - - the turning of imagery into more of the same - - I am going to have to re-read this from time to time to know how better to deal with loss.... so it goes to my favourites.... thank you Donall..... From Fay......
