Long Braids Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Long Braids

Long braids

Long braids in black like my veins head to toe
Your body, is thunder, connecting sea-clouds
And your face…what white page has written:
“Do not see…is ugly…of low cast)
Moves my heart, which beat-throb, all around
With fear your allure, beauty, penetrate my ear.

You who has her firm feet in Black Africa
I am sure you are the, greatest Aphrodite.
