Lonely Soul! Poem by sania harris

Lonely Soul!

Rating: 3.8

In a dark corner
Sits a little girl
Looking like a mourner
Without her own life

In this huge city
Where the building touch the sky
People passing her feel pity
Seeing her state they cry

Her parents, about her, don’t bother
For them she doesn’t exist
She is brutally injured by her father
And never to bed is she kissed

This is a story about a lonely girl
A girl who has a sad sea
She is forbidden to the world of happiness
And the girl is unfortunately me

More of despised soul than lonely. But at the end of the day, nothing changes- whether lonely or despised. That's her life, and that's the life of many.

In all of your poems I see abandonment and abuse.A little trick I learned when I was your age because I felt the same way that life was very bleak and I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel.Give yourself a big hug and say to yourself'I will survive.I love me.'It has always got me through the bad times.Your poem is very poignant and well written.I'm glad you contacted me.You have a friend with me.
