This is a poem to help lonely people on their own
You mostly find that its because a loved one has flown
Of course this is not always the case and reasons can be many
I just used that one because it’s good as any
I know we all think it’s the end of our life
Boy friend, girl friend, husband or wife.
When it first happens you tend to close the door
But please I beg you in fact I do implore
Please leave a gap and help to keep the door ajar
Because you never know who is looking from Afar
The hurt, the pain, the feeling of rejection in time will ease
Then slowly slowly life again becomes a breeze
Out comes us all again seeking pastures new
Forgetting all the past which once we nearly blew
Only this time we have to be careful we do not find
Another idiot who plays games with your mind
Who say they love you, and to them it’s just a game
They really have no idea it can drive us all insane
Love is a beautiful word when used and meant
But not to those who abuse it and never repent
Now a few words to those of you who are bereaved
Who has lost their loved ones when it was not conceived
People tend not to talk with you not really knowing what to say
Well I am completely different I will even join you to pray
Folks do mean well only they really don’t understand
That yes sometimes you wish to be alone in Grief
But you have feelings too. Just a smile a little nod
Could bring you some relief
Of course from then on it’s really up to you
I am sure the one you loved and left you all alone
Would only wish you happiness and not stay on your own
