'Lonely Heart On The Line' Poem by Lindemberg Pereira da Silva

'Lonely Heart On The Line'

Rating: 3.5

The darkness all around the room,
The cold wind by the window,
Pouring outside the door,
I can see little pieces of water falling from the floor.
The night seems to come soon,
No stars in the sky
All alone on my own,
My lonely heart on the line.

I don't hear no voice,
No one answers to me,
Neither one single word,
Telling me what I need to hear.
Feelings became into little pieces
Trying to put them together
Ask myself: 'May I cry? '
My lonely heart on the line.

Sometimes, the words are not much
The silence seems to be enough
When the choice is harder
than own will.
Maybe you will leave me alone
When everything has gone
And we will be done
My lonely heart on the line.
