Lonely Heart Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Lonely Heart

Rating: 5.0

The lonely heart wanders
where it is unwelcomed
where it is forbidden
where it is hissed at
where it is disregarded
where it is chastised
where it is stoned
where it is categorized
where it is frowned upon
where it is shut out
where it is judged to be no good
where it is misunderstood
where it is a stranger
where it is a leper
A lonely heart wanders
and lingers where it finds hopes and dreams
A lonely heart knows no bounds
and feels every sorrow and sadness and injustice
all for the sake of it's lonely dream: LOVE that really is...
