Londawn Poem by Arik Fletcher

Londawn

Buildings tall through foggy streets,
Ripples drift 'cross waters deep,
Dawn light bright but air still cold,
As zombies march away from sleep.

Winding paths through ancient streets,
Skyline changing through the years,
Blue gold skies to please the eyes,
Through masks suppressing hopes and fears.

Footsteps filling silent streets,
Drifters searching out their spark,
Sun beams trace each cracked façade,
Where greater men have left their mark.
