Lock Of Hair Poem by James Merchant

Lock Of Hair

Rating: 3.5

A lock of your blonde hair.
I hold it close
To my heart.
I can't let go.
These fingers won't budge.
As tears run cursive tracts down my cheeks
Carving an empire
Which will be left with
no empress.
