Loaf Of Friendship Poem by Paul Sebastian

Loaf Of Friendship

Dear friend,
I send these lilies to you:
Thanking for being so true,
To a friendship: real and free.
Accepting we oft times disagree,
Yet remain caring, staying faithful:
Carving out something beautiful
A friendship-heart, to be always true:
To cherish our whole lives through.
I asked: bread-crumbs of friendship
You offered: a loaf of good friendship!
Indeed, you are a blessing!
Pray, we’ll keep it lasting!

I asked: bread-crumbs of friendship You offered: a loaf of good friendship! Indeed, you are a blessing! A real friend is one who is able to give more than what is asked....! A beautiful tribute to your friend... These lines would be more dear to him than a boquet of lilies!

Just had a long overdue chat with a best friend last night. Your poem brings back to mind the reason we are so complimentary to each other! Nicely written!
