Living Quietly Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Living Quietly

Falling into a ravine, not being seen by anyone, save God.
Living a life quietly, alone inside my being, where only I know what I'm thinking.
Unless I decide to share with you through my writing.

This poem expresses a kind of bottom-line of moral existence - the solitude of the individual means integrity depends completely on your inner being and not on your interaction with other people. It's just you and God, because I'm assuming the devil has given up on a soul so committed to LIVING QUIETLY. How could he possibly tempt someone with such values!
