No, that wasn’t enough for you.
Your beautiful soul had to go
the mile beyond the mile
beyond the mile.

Today, you did the impossible.
To wipe away my tears
that flowed uncontrollably on the way
to your grave today,
being 5 years today
since you left
for Heaven,
you sent me Zebbie
(formally Snow Leopard or Snow Cloud)
to send me your horsey love
through him.

He is the first horse,
since you,
to lift his nose to me
for a second kiss
and a third
and a fourth.

And there I said my sixth dream
was a dream-horse from you
because you couldn’t give me
a real horse.

I was so wrong.
There isn’t anything you can’t do.
Of course, I do realize
that you probably enlisted
a lot of help from God.
