Live Gracefully Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Live Gracefully

Rating: 5.0

I have known life
Better in sense with an edge of knife
Lovely and beautiful
But in contrast too as painful

I would love to find
And to be honest and kind
As this is only alternate
We have nothing more to relate

I must remain at peace
With lots of answers and at ease
It has no other go
Love to rule and hate to forgo

I draw energy from nature
So it has many cures
Sun and moon both are my source
I will have to reckon with these forces

I have seen misery
That has been taken on as blessing from almighty
With open mind for next happy moment to follow
We pray god for it to come even slow

What is there to suffer or enjoy?
It has everything in it to have joy
Rain, spring, summer and autumn
Each one coming in life turn by turn

Why to get afraid when heat is on?
Why to get perturbed when spring has gone?
It may be turn for flowers to boom
You may have chance to adjust the room

Life is for me and let me look into
See the happiness for self and look through
It may remain for short time when needed
That much grace the lord has conceded

Live gracefully when you have it in abundance
That has come by grace and chance
Enjoy with full extent and make best use
Never insult any one or hurt even if you have to refuse

Fay Slimm Such beautiful words you use in this positive verse Jadia - - the final stanza gives encouragement to think more of what we already possess instead of becoming too needy. Thank you for sharing sucb wisdom. Recommended.
