Little Things Matter Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Little Things Matter

'Take care of little things
Big things take care of themselves'
Said poet Emily Dickinson
How true it is for life to proceed!

A little leak fixed in a boat
Keeps it floating smoothly
A simple tune up of an engine
Lets the vehicle run smoothly.

Eighty percent of problems're
Attributed to twenty percent causes
Attending to these quickly makes
A company run without a hitch.

You don't go by the rule always
And turn into a micro manager
Give responsibility to others
And see that the job is done right.

Everyone in a managerial position should listen to the sound advice given at the end! Yes, take care of little things and pay due respect and give due importance to 'little' people!

We have to look after the little things in life and keep active doing so. Lovely poem.
