Little Princess, Little Star

Little princess, little star where is she?
half ways around the world
to a place far away, to far away
remembering when she was born not long ago
a cute little baby, so full of love and joy
opening her eyes to a big wide world
from Tennessee to Germany to a magical world
did the little princess know how special she is
seeing pictures as she grow
missing all her adventures
why so far away little princess?
discovery the world and meeting so many
touching the world in her own way
little princess, little star missing you
so far away, in a beautiful place
learning to talk, sing and read
the stories love to share with her
missing the strolls to the park
a cone or to at the ice cream shop
sitting at the little table with her friends
Minnie, Dora, sock monkey
a spot of tea from the make believe pot
dressed in silly clothes and shoes
Oh the time stands still
pictured in my mind, never leaving
endless in time waiting for her
Little princess, little star where is she
half ways around the world
to a place so far away, to far away

    Well penned poem.

When the chicks grow up they fly away
Life takes them to their own way,
But the sticky memory grieves the past
For a while it boosts but slips at last. (Report) Reply
