'Little Paper Boats' Poem by Linda Winchell

'Little Paper Boats'

Rating: 5.0

Make a paper boat
go sail it on a pond.
Little tiny paper boats
of which, you'd sail around.

Make them any color now!
red, green or maybe blue.
Then sail them off
to some dreamt up distant land
just like a little child at play, would do.

If they fall apart or sink
you can always make, one paper boat more!
That's the fun of paper boat making
of that inner child, like you'd done before!

It is so fun, growing up with a stream in my backyard, we would - brothers & i, do that all the time. Cast off little paper boats, sail them down the rapids made of stones and rock. Haha, good times. An affectionate poem. Keep on Linda. I enjoy reading you. Good for the soul. xxsjg
