Little Child of Wonder

Little child of wonder, tell me what you see?
You wave your hand across your face
head tipped, horizontally.

Are you following the shadows? Is it colors that you see?
Do you see things the way I do?
Are you looking for a hew?

I have so many questions, there's so much I want to know
but you yield me select treasures
Then you swiftly turn and go.

I’ll never give up trying To learn of this mystery
One day, no doubt, I’ll find the way
That will bring you back.
