Little Boy Lost Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Little Boy Lost

A solitary Boy, alone, secluded in his room,
not wanting to come out
Solitude calls his name, as he cries, covered
within his own cloak of sadness
At the rise of the Sun, thru the day's lonely dreams,
into the path of the Moons glow
What thoughts encompass thru the waves,
of an empty life, void of desire, of dreams, of promise
Never reaching out, never a settlement of differences
reached by his own consessions
Alone, secluded in his room
Broken hearted
