Listen To Yourself Poem by Robert Longley

Listen To Yourself

So you’ve seen the mountains
The forests and the seas
a veritable cornucopia
Or banquette if you please

It’s all there for the taking
So don’t feel you must choose
You can take one direction
And others still not lose

So just pick one and focus
It’s just one on the list
Just because you pick one
The others won’t be missed

Your life is not a single path
More a symphony of sound
Where many instruments play as one
And music’s all around

Life does have a music, if you tune into it.
