Listen Closely Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Listen Closely

Rating: 5.0

Blue Nude with a white background
Flat Egyptian eyes
Five dimensions must include love
Must include time

Space is a profound energy
Jazz like a circular immortality
Circumspect your connections
Violet angels around the library

Beads sitting by old typewriters
Black dress with gold embroidery
Context rivals the profound thrones
Polemics like a bridge of risk

Have you felt ghosts in the museum?
Vivid colors have away with words
Culture has a voice like Tolstoy
Cathedrals sing of heavenly stones

Heritage hides like a crystal elf
Art is the language of credo
Speak to me with cryptic passion
Paintings at night have soul

Listen closely to the gallery's vision

A beautiful homage to true art, the only worthwhile passion.
