She screams
She sighs
She lies
About herself
How indeed
Does she feel?
She has lied so much
(She herself could tell you as much)
She seems to have forgotten
How is was that all this pain came about
And she lies so much
(She herself could tell you as much)
She has forgotten how to tell the truth
The truth about how she feels
Torn
Frantic
Alone
Yes, she has forgotten
All because no one was there to listen
At that moment she needed most,
An ear, a caring word
There instead was silence
And so she lies.
