Linger I - Poem by Craig Jordan

When ears are dead,
And Birds have gone,
Surely it can't linger.

With words not said,
I'll live whilst dead,
Surely it won't linger on.

When you won't listen,
And I won't talk,
Surely we shan't linger on.
