Limericks Poem by Joseph Enright

Limericks

Rating: 2.8

The limerick packs laughs anatomical
Into spaces quiet economical
But the good ones Ive seen
So seldom are clean
And the clean ones are seldom comical
........................................................................

There was a young lady called Alice
Who peed in the presbeterys chalice
The padre agreed
Twas done out of need
And not of religious malice.
...............................................................................

Dont worry if your lifes a joke
And your successes are but few
Remember that the mighty oak
Was once a nut like you! ! !

..........................................With thanks to George Coote............................
