Lil Marry Poem by fera nugroho

Lil Marry

it was dusk
the evening creeping on
the darkness thickening into night
the cold air embraced this little body
fiercely strangled, choked her future
to the hands of the human beast

poor marry cried in vain
dragging the dead little lamb in pain
blood dripping from her thighs
oozed from her virginity
and turned the ocean crimson red
as red as the disgraced moon blanketed in flame

alone,
marry heading down the path
dictated by her sorrow
only to see…
a girl floating in the air
holding a bleeding lamb tightly in her arms

marry tried to outcast her despair
as she gazed the shadow
of that little girl with her little lamb
motionless, breathless
unable to fight for her life
against the nasty desires
of the human beasts

tears of blood damped the chilly sand
the blood that dyed the world
into the color of death
all joy was darkened
the mirth of the land was gone
the earth mourned and languished
for the curse had devoured the air

wailed, you mothers
be ashamed human beasts
for the sea had spoken
"i swallowed your slain daughters"
and the earth proudly declared
"her virgin blood was mine"

the nights shrouded with dark fog
and the silent hubbub
escorted her soul
into the hadal realm
of the abyssal sorrow….
