Like Winter Snow

Like autumn leaves and summer rose
Like gloom, when children sing
As one arrives, the other goes
Just like the snow in spring

Jacob’s dawn will soon be here
The Vine will surely grow
The Gentile’s day will disappear
Just like the winter snow

God knows alone what time remains
For those yet lost on earth
The bride writhes much with labour pains
But finds it hard to birth

Till she herself has been reborn
The Gentile time won’t cease
Her glory day can never dawn
To bring her endless peace

The bible tells us what to do
God’s word’s both truth and guide
The Lord shows how His chosen few
Can bring the lost inside

Christ’s virgin bride, must bring them in
Must venture in the street –Mt.22: 9
Bring forth the sick, those yet in sin
To sit at Jesus’ feet

Some may, or may not understand
Others may mock and doubt
Not few who lax in Jesus’ hand
May find He’s spit them out –Rev.3: 16

God’s fields are ripe with golden wheat
With harvest at the door
Christ bride must rise from pew and seat
To bring it in The Store …
