Like The Moon Among The Stars Poem by Bocar N'DIAYE

Like The Moon Among The Stars

Like the moon among the stars
With a bright light and still dominant
What are you doing on this night of sadness blazing?
Why do you come?
Where are you from?
Thy goings are the nights
Are you the guardian of nights
Since the dawn of time?
Take you time
And you carry away

Like the moon among the stars
Like the lion above
I can not stop thinking
To think
To think that
What
In your person
your image
your form
The forms of beauty
In the depths of your beauty bright
As the poet says to his love
I need from you
Even if you are far
Because being alone is to live without the other
Is to live in lack of the other

Like the moon among the stars
You're a smooth
Enjoying our common happiness
As said again and again the poet
To love, one must know how to love
So easy to love
But the difficult
Is to be loved
Who live without love
Live without history
Is not known
live unknown
Love like the moon among the stars
You are like the moon among the stars.
