In his mind for sadness there is not any space
He always does have a big smile on his face
The lilt in his laughter makes for a happy sound
He carries joy with him and shares it around
People like he is quite a pleasure to know
For he surely is one who has the inner glow
Of happy people as some like to say
They do make a new friend or two every day
That laughter is the best of medicine as a truism remain
Why this be so is there need for one to explain
With the saying of laugh and the World laughs with you one has to agree
A happy person is always popular is how it seems to be
Like the happy young man with the big smile on his face
