Like Humpty Dumpty Poem by June FeirCruz

Like Humpty Dumpty

When I am your lady and your queen:
You place me on a high pedestal my nose bleeds from the height.
When you are not pleased:
You yank me down from the pedestal and I fall to the ground
And like Humpty Dumpty I am broken and nearly beyond repair.

Your version of me in your reality is different from my own
I am not always glamorous, not always put together,
Not always successful
I am just me:
Human - flaws and all.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! That is the essence of all ofus sis. We may be strong, and independent, we may be beautiful and blessed, but we also have those human imperfections that make us who we are. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! A wonderful message sis and thank you for sharing. A 10+++++. Love & hugs, Barbara
