Like Hearts In The Sand Poem by Serena Silenced

Like Hearts In The Sand

Rating: 5.0

Long were the nights
Walking hand in hand
Your skin touching mine
As we made love in the sand

Bubbling shores
Reaching out to our feet
Entwined in each other
Could not sate the heat

Long were the years
That stretched out ahead
I longed for you
But you were with her instead.

Passion is all consuming
But on the other hand
It washes away
Like hearts in the sand
