Like A Shovel Poem by Byron Headrick

Like A Shovel

Rating: 4.5

Like a shovel of sand over a hole, she can
Complete me and I her. Aged like wine
For the tongue of the other, made sweeter
Fortified with stout liquor. Enough to make
Each continue to drink deeper and deeper
Then reel about smiling crazily
Whistling to the world and to the goat-headed
Fellow standing in our shadows.

Love the style, a new and denser one as it appears ;)
