Like A River Poem by Toshie Nohara

Like A River

Wishing for tomorrow
With full expectation of surprises
Getting Sooo excited like little children
Spent the whole night awake
And PRECIOUS SLEEP is wasted!

Fearing what's tomorrow
With doubts of one's capability
Getting Sooo confused like lost children
Spent the whole night awake
And PRECIOUS TIME is wasted!

Why not live in the NOW?
Accept life like a river that
flows accordingly
Don't waste time worrying
Wishing and
Fearing what
Tomorrow will bring
Be a river.
