Like A Kite Poem by Rocky Morton

Like A Kite

Rating: 5.0

I've given up myself to the wind like a kite
Making friends with the sun
Confusing the birds with distant voyages
Whispering you touching with the wind.

I will forever hold your hand like a kite
But it's you the ties who hold me tight
Letting me dance above higher and high
And you never left me away from your sight.

Only travellers leave where he want to be
But you never been the traveller in me
Though you're gone for me you never left but you stay
Because in my heart you never get far from me.

Like the kite watching me down here
No matter how high, how get far you were
But you never get out of my sight dear
For you I will and I will be hold your hand forever.

You're gone just simply as the sun going down to set
But I see your face before you get
That smile that saying goodbye so far yet
And when I hold you forever until my last breath.

Like the kite I completely blown myself away
You were with me wherever in my journey
I long to be lost in the fields when you're gone away
Seems like the whole world falling down on me.

You shared every sunrise with me
You kept my company all of those loneliness
And all the memories will kept on me
In my mind and in my heart you'll always be.
