Like A Dog To Its Bone Poem by Hannah Shier

Like A Dog To Its Bone

You know,
there's something here
that calls to me.
Calls to me like
a child to its mother,
chocolate to a woman,
shelter to the homeless,
a gentle hand to the wounded.
What it is, though,
I still have yet
to find.
