Lights Out (Double Tetractys) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Lights Out (Double Tetractys)

Night
Spreads out
Her darkness
Over the earth
As she beckons the weary mind to sleep.

Cricket songs and the soft light of moonbeams
Stage a slumber
Set to play
Until
Dawn.

In their irregularity moonbeamsaren't contrary, but with the likes of crickets keep light alive then rest by day and do the same next night and day...
