Lightening Bolts Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Lightening Bolts

Lightening Bolts

Lightening bolts
Stuck through the farmland
And frightened the nature below it.
The lightening bolts could do that.

Their power and streaks
Made the farmland shiver and shake.
These bolts of lightening
Were made of magic.

White lightening scare me so
Because it was you
An I was the farmland
Below you.

Lightening bolt
Struck through me farmland
And so.
The lightening traveled through me.
