Light Sources Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Light Sources

Rating: 5.0

Tendrils of effluent light
Capture the night
'Tis borne of desperation unsung
Grasping for glimmers
The star-lit shimmers
Before-it all-comes undone;

Galaxies befriend Mother Earth
The Universe in solumn prayer
Light sources urgent need-bellowing
'Neath a blanket of blackened despair;

Dark side of the moon-now fading
Venus-now brighter than noon
Super Nova's flash their shimmers
Lunar changes arriving soon;

Before the dawn breaks in the east
Before the rise and the glory of the sun
In need of effluent light for the desperate night
In need-before new day has begun;

---

Dedicated To: All Who Have Helped
To Shine A Light On
Certain Unfortunate
Situations Of Late.

Thank You-
