Light Is Too Far
They say, what I'm looking for
Light or delight?
Years go on,
The pages get worn out,
That poem I can't write.
Because, light is too far! ! !
People often run after material possessions without trying to find within themselves the peace, and spiritual awakening that can enlighten them.. Lived are wasted in such meaningless chase. A beautifully crafted poem. Thank you for sharing.
The natural tendency of common people is to seek delight in life as well as small things in day to day life. In that back drop it is great to seek light (true knowledge) from the young age it self. It is said that self realization is the best education. If that is true, the journey in that direction is highly commendable and one day it will definitely touch the coveted destination.
