Lifes Little Moments Poem by Bonnie B Long

Lifes Little Moments

Rating: 5.0

Some of lifes little moments catch your heart
And from these moments you don't want to part
That moment for me was when I met you
And now there is nothing I can do

I love to hear your voice
And I have no choice
Your voice does things to me
That can make me see

I see that life is worth living again
Not the life I'm living like a winter wren
I can see that I can be a spring chick
Its in all the things that click

When I hear your voice, your music your name
These feelings just remain the same
My insides turn to mush
And I really don't want to rush

Rush away or rush to them
There are times I just want to say amen
I wish you could feel what you do to me
Then maybe you might see why I don't want to be free
