Lifes Journey (Revised)
As I have traveled this
journey called life
I have sought to maintain
my dignity and honor
trying to make correct
decisions
gaining love and respect
from my children
I have remained faithful
to my childhood teachings
life is like a chess game
win some lose some
the spirit of man never
dies this is the entrance
to the mysteries of life
all the cob-webs of life
are in these mysteries
it is up to us to remove
them separate the facts
I pray when my journey
has ended
standing before the
gatekeeper
he will find me worthy
unlock the gate for my
entrance
My family awaits me
It will be a glorious
reunion.
