Lifes A Mystery Poem by Andrew Houston

Lifes A Mystery

My life is a mystery
Cold and hollow
Slowly I step into the shadow
Through hell I’ve been through
Just to say a lonely soldier I stand here today
See inside and feel my pain
My blood drips free and begins to stain
Night my wings spread to fly
Into the dark starry sky
My teeth sink into your tender flesh
Stealing your very last single breath
Killing my urge to bleed you dry
Back to my cave I begin to fly
Down deep in the depths of the hollows
Were no one ever dares to follow
By dawn that day I have changed
No long I look so deranged
Though the light I fear in shame
No pity for me is just insane
