Life To Me Poem by Neela Nath Das

Life To Me

I care for the guys
with whom I work and
This world is my family.
I walk with life and smile,
thus my time I beguile.
But, I don't know
the solution of a pain.
Me and my life-partner
always are One.
He shares my grief
and makes it brief,
still I care for them.
He is so gentle
He is so mild,
he laughs as I'm a child,
but I can't wipe
the grain,
the pain
I acquire inbuilt.
Life to me wasn't
favorable ever,
I gained a little
and lost forever,
the tears of my eyes
never get dried
for the kins
who are so dear.
They accuse me often,
they sprinkle soot to me.
Still, I wear specks
so that I could see,
their fault as their
unwanted doing,
their wrong things
as natural swing.
It's riddle it's a quiz,
the stranger became
my favorable breeze,
but my blood
doesn't appear thicker
than the water
I live in.
