In thoughts of love,
we will journey across
the green fields of fate
sliding over life’s rainbow
to find the brightest colour
that awaits us at the end.
We journey with our heart
ignoring our mind set
to find the perfect partner
who will illuminate our lives
and set our world ablaze.
The one who will inspire
our fountain of youth within.
In thoughts of love,
we will journey to
the ends of the earth
if the need must be
to slide over life’s rainbow
to find the brightest colour
that awaits us at the end.
