Life's Perception

Friend, what’s life taught you to perceive?
What holds the grave in store?
What follows next do you believe?
Once life has closed the door

Do you perceive Christ Jesus real?
His resurrection true
His precious love His Holy Seal
And why He died for you

Do you perceive by faith to see
The living God to hear
Believe by grace He set you free
And take away your fear

Do you perceive the devil’s lost?
His kingdom’s crumbled down
That Jesus’ blood has paid the cost
For you to wear a crown

Is Christ perceived within your heart?
Healing your aching soul
Now promising He’ll never part
Until you’ve reached The Goal

Have you perceived The Truth to find?
Beyond life’s doubt and pain
The wondrous things God has in mind
Once Jesus comes again

Do you perceive the victory?
God’s Lamb came down to bring
Through even death you may agree
His praises ever sing

If you can answer yes dear friend
Perceiving birth anew
Then I perceive at life’s last bend
The Father waits for you
