Life's Motto Poem by Sheri Green

Life's Motto

Some might say early to bed and early to rise
Makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise
And would it be such an incredible surprise
If I just might not empathize?

For I say let a man have his sleep
Snuggled down while he counts his sheep
For in rest is the harvest of mind we reap
Where the worries and stress of the day do seep

So it is with a restful sleep we find ourselves healthy
And in itself is that not enough to consider us wealthy?
