Life's Journey Poem by jewel Alberter

As I travel along life's journey, one day at a time,
there will be many mountain's I must climb.
But when my steps grow weary, I still must travel on,
cause I'll be one step closer, closer to the Lord.

I will be one step closer, closer to the Lord,
as I sit and watch the evening shadows fall.
With my destination nearer,
my mission becomes clearer,
I must get ready for when Jesus comes to call.

As the sun sets on the mountain,
and twilight fades away,
I know that I shall hear my Mother call.
She will come to meet me,
Loved one's will greet me,
and we'll be together after all.
