Life's Connection Poem by Sandra Feldman

Life's Connection

Rating: 2.5

Life is shockingly unfair,
So much better as a pair,
Sharing Love and deep affection,
Makes things easier to bare
Giving Life its true connection.

LIFE IS SHOCKINGLY UNFAIR - Yes, that so true, and no rationalization through philosophy, theology, psychology can change that fact of existence. Your last line becomes the only lasting solution - the refuge created by loving relationship. I was going to quote from DOVER BEACH by Matthew Arnold which states this theme so beautifully B-U-T i'm moving soon to a new apartment and I've already packed the English/Irish poets! But the passage goes sort of AH, LOVE, LET US TO EACH OTHER BE TRUE FOR THE WORLD CONTAINS NEITHER TRUTH NOR CERTAINTY etc.

True a life's biggest tragedy is it's loneliness. The major portion of the life is unfortunately unfair. Hence that lone life naturally demands a connection..... very nice You ma read my latest poem Booby trap
