Life's Circumstances Poem by Walterrean Salley

Life's Circumstances

The fight against life's
Unfavorable circumstances
Can weigh heavily
Upon the brow.
An unwanted guest,
They come knocking like
The intruder that they are.
They steal the sunshine,
Leaving skies of gray
With abandonment to
Life's winter.
But, somehow, we always
Find the way back to spring
And the sunshine.
